What is the purpose of window visors?

A vent visor — also commonly known as a rain guard, rain visor, window visor, or window deflector – protects you and the interior of your truck from wet weather, by deflecting rain, snow, sleet, wind and hail away from the windows of your vehicle, thus allowing you to keep your windows open even in wet, rainy weather. The ones listed here attach to your truck by the pre-installed 3M 2-way tape. These are not an In-channel ventvisor. All you need to do to install them is to make sure that your truck is warm and clean. We recommend using isopropyl alcohol or another product that will remove any wax or grease from your door to ensure the best adhesion. Although we do offer a 90 day warranty it does not cover ventvisors coming off as this is generally due to improper installation. Once you have the surface of the door clean and dry you can align them and slowly peel off the 2-way tape while pressing them firmly to the door making sure that they are aligned properly.
